Archon Skills

Unlike card skills that adventurers use automatically, Archon Skills belong to you, the player. During battle, you decide exactly when to activate them. A well-timed Archon Skill can turn the tide of a losing fight.

Obtaining Archon Skills

Each Archon Skill is unlocked by collecting its rune. Every additional copy of the same rune raises the skill’s level — more charges per battle, and a stronger effect. See Archon Skill Levels below.

The quest path (your first rune)
  • Visit any one of the five class institutions.
  • Open the COMBAT tab and clear the battle quests in order, starting from Lv.1.
  • After you clear the Lv.50 battle quest, the “Rune” quest (Lv.50) appears. Defeat it — the rune is yours. A second Rune quest (Lv.200) unlocks afterward for a duplicate copy.
  • Too hard? Level your heroes up further, or equip the right skills for your DPS / Tank / Healer.

Sources by skill

Every rune you collect for a given skill adds +1 charge in battle. The maximum level (= maximum charges) is bounded by the number of sources that drop it.

How They Work

Equip up to 5 Archon Skills via the Archon tab in your profile; their buttons appear at the bottom of the battle screen. Tap a button to fire the skill instantly — there’s no cast time or selection step.

Each button has charges = the skill’s level: Lv.1 gives one use per battle, Lv.4 gives four. After each use, a short 10-second cooldownapplies before that skill can fire again. Charges do not regenerate inside a battle — once spent, the button stays grayed for the rest of the fight.

Because charges are finite per battle and most effects are time-limited, timing is everything. Saving an Archon Skill for a critical moment — a large incoming attack, a final push, or a desperate heal — can make the difference between victory and defeat.

Skill Effects

What each skill does when you fire it. Buff-type effects last 8 turns; Vital Surge heals instantly.

SkillTagEffect
Arcane FuryArcane Fury
ATKRaises the attack power of all allies. Stronger adventurers deal more damage for the duration of the buff.
Vital SurgeVital Surge
HEALRestores a portion of every ally’s HP instantly. The healing scales with skill level.
Iron BastionIron Bastion
DEFBolsters the resistance of all allies, reducing incoming damage for several turns.
Phantom VeilPhantom Veil
EVAIncreases the evasion of all allies, giving them a better chance to dodge attacks.
Precision MarkPrecision Mark
CRITSharpens the critical strike rate of all allies, leading to more devastating hits.
Rear TargetingRear Targeting
FOCUSMarks one of the enemy’s rear-line members as the priority target. Useful for cutting down healers and backline DPS before they wear you down.
Soul BlessSoul Bless
LAST-STANDEmpowers every ally’s last-stand effect for a period of time — an allied unit that would otherwise die from a fatal hit survives with 1 HP instead.
Azcarion's KissAzcarion's Kiss
FIREReduces fire resistance for all enemies and inflicts burning — a sustained-damage opener that punishes fire-weak compositions.

Archon Skill Levels

Every duplicate rune you collect for the same skill raises its level. Higher level means two compounding benefits: more charges per battleand a stronger numerical effect.

Level = sources collected
  • +1 charge per rune. A skill with 3 collected copies fires up to 3 times in one battle.
  • Stronger numbers per level — bigger heals, more ATK / DEF / evasion / crit, harder-hitting debuffs.
  • Each use triggers a 10-second cooldown on that slot before the next charge can fire.
  • Caps: the five basic skills go up to Lv.4, Rear Targeting up to Lv.3, Soul Bless is fixed at Lv.1 (SBT binary).

Plan your collection around the skills you actually use in battle — a maxed Arcane Fury is usually more valuable than five different Lv.1 skills you never have the charges to invest in.
