Expedition

An Expedition is a shared battlefield. Up to ten captains march their teams across one map at the same time, take strategic points, and try to bring down the enemy commander before the hour runs out. It is co-operative — everyone in the same Expedition wins or loses together.

It runs in real time
Once the battle hour starts, an Expedition does not pause. The clock keeps ticking, enemies keep marching and your teams keep holding ground whether the game is open or not. You can leave at any moment and come back to it — closing the map is not quitting, and it costs you nothing.

How to Access

The Expedition door
Open the Expedition button in the harbour hub. It leads to the lobby, where every Expedition currently running is listed.

The Lobby

  • Each row is one live Expedition: who created it, its difficulty, how many captains are in, and how much time is left. Tap one to join it.
  • Create New starts a fresh one instead. You pick the difficulty, and you may set a 6-digit code if you want to keep it to friends — coded Expeditions still appear in the list, but need the code to enter.
  • If you are already in an Expedition, the lobby takes you straight back to it. You can only be in one at a time, and returning is always free.

Basics

Entry costs Energy
500 Energy to create or to join. Re-entering an Expedition you are already in is free. Energy is never refunded, so commit before you spend.
Six teams, six heroes
You may field up to 6 teams, each exactly 6 adventurers. A hero can only be on one team, and heroes on an Expedition are busy — they cannot quest or craft until it is over.
One hour + 2-minute prep
Creation opens a 2-minute prep window — deploy teams and queue march orders, but nobody moves until it ends. Then the battle hour runs. The clock is shared, not per-player: joining a nearly-finished one leaves you very little time, so check the timer in the lobby.
Ten captains
Up to 10 players share one map, with up to 60 teams between them. Everything you capture helps everybody, and everything the enemy takes hurts everybody.

Difficulty

Difficulty is chosen once, by whoever creates the Expedition, and applies to everyone in it. It changes how hard the enemies hit, how much reward you collect, and how much your hero experience is multiplied by. The map, the enemy roster and the rules are identical on all four.

DifficultyRecommendedWhat changes
EasyLv.10Enemies at a fraction of their strength — the place to learn the map.
MediumLv.100A real fight, but forgiving.
HardLv.200Full-strength enemies. The intended experience.
ExtremeLv.400Enemies hit hardest and have the deepest health — the best rewards and the biggest experience multiplier.

How It Ends

You win the moment every enemy commander is destroyed. You lose if the hour runs out, or if the enemy takes your fortress. A win and a loss landing together counts as a win.

The battlefield then freezes and a five-minute window opens: look over the final map, check your results, and collect. Your rewards scale with the difficulty and with how much you actually contributed.

If you are away when it ends, nothing is lost — your reward is settled the next time you open the Expedition door, and your heroes are released either way.
