Institutions

Institutions are buildings and organizations in the central city that provide quests, skill training, and shops. They are the backbone of your progression in ELHEXA.

Accessing Institutions

Institutions can be accessed from the Quest tab anywhere in the game. Tap an institution to enter it and see available actions.

Institution Functions

Each institution offers a subset of the following functions, shown as buttons when you enter:

Enlist

Recruit new adventurers to your roster. Only the Adventurers’ Guild offers this — including one free hire per day.

Quest

Deploy adventurers on quests to earn rewards, experience, and materials.

Combat

Send adventurers on battle quests against enemies for combat rewards.

Study

Learn new skills for your adventurers through study quests.

Explore

Send adventurers to explore and gather raw materials from the field.

Craft

Use gathered materials to craft items and equipment.

Supply

Purchase materials, Skill Crystals, and other goods from the institution’s shop.

Table

Seat adventurers at a table to earn passive rewards over time.

Unlocking Institutions

Not all institutions are available from the start. The Adventurers’ Guild is available immediately and serves as the gateway to unlocking others. Each locked institution shows its requirements on the quest tab — tap it to see what you need.

Requirements vary by institution and can include any combination of:

Institution Level

Another institution must reach a specific level. For example, upgrading the Adventurers’ Guild unlocks the class-specific institutions.

Gold Coins

A one-time gold cost to unlock the institution.

Quest Completions

You must have completed a minimum number of quests across all institutions.

Kizuna Partners

You must have a minimum number of Kizuna bonds. Some social institutions require this.

Adventurer Conditions

You must own adventurers of a specific clan, or have adventurers that reach a certain level.

Once all requirements are met, the Unlock button becomes active. Institutions that are still locked show a preview of their requirements so you can plan ahead.

Upgrading Institutions

Each institution has a level. Use the Upgrade button inside an institution to level it up.

Higher levels unlock:

• More and harder quests with better rewards
• Additional quest deployment slots
• New items in the institution’s Supply shop
• Advanced skills for learning
• Access to unlock other institutions that require a certain institution level

Upgrades cost Gold Coins. Higher-level upgrades may also require crafting materials. Costs increase with each level, so focus on upgrading the institutions that matter most to your current goals.
