Transmute
Why Transmute?

Your storage holds a fixed number of adventurers (expandable with Elhexa Crystals). Transmuting frees up space for new summons.
Even a duplicate or low-rarity card gives back books and shards you can use to strengthen your best adventurers.

Shards obtained from transmuting are the primary way to learn and level up skills.
How to Transmute
There are two ways to transmute adventurers:
Single Transmute
Open any adventurer card and tap the Transmute button at the bottom of the card detail screen. The card is transmuted immediately and you receive the rewards.

Bulk Transmute
From the Card Box, tap the Transmute button in the top-right corner. You can then select multiple cards at once (up to 100 cards per batch) and transmute them all together.

Note: you cannot transmute a card that is locked, deployed on a quest, or listed on the market. You must also keep at least 50 adventurers in your roster — the game will not allow a transmute that would bring your total below this minimum.
Transmute Rewards
Every transmuted card produces three categories of rewards based on its stats:
1. Experience Books
The adventurer’s accumulated EXP is converted into experience books. Battle classes receive Spell Books, while production classes (Miner, Botanist, Chef, Crafter) receive Production Notes instead.
The conversion follows a largest-denomination-first rule — higher-tier books are produced first, then remaining EXP fills smaller tiers.
| Tier | Item | EXP per Book |
|---|---|---|
| Advanced Experience Book | 10,000 EXP | |
| Intermediate Experience Book | 1,000 EXP | |
| Beginner’s Experience Book | 100 EXP |
| Tier | Item | EXP per Note |
|---|---|---|
| Artisan’s Notes | 10,000 EXP | |
| Craftsman’s Notes | 1,000 EXP | |
| Apprentice’s Notes | 100 EXP |
Every transmuted card is guaranteed at least 1 Beginner’s Book (or Apprentice’s Notes). Even a freshly summoned card with 0 EXP will produce one — so no transmute ever returns empty-handed on books.
2. Skill Shards
Each learned skill on the adventurer produces shards of the matching type. The number of shards depends on the skill’s level:
- Each skill gives 1 base shard of its type, multiplied by the skill’s level multiplier.
- Higher skill levels yield significantly more shards, making leveled-up cards more valuable to transmute.
| Skill Level | Shards per Skill |
|---|---|
| Lv. 1 | 1 |
| Lv. 2 | 2 |
| Lv. 3 | 4 |
| Lv. 4 | 8 |
| Lv. 5 | 16 |
| Lv. 6 | 32 |
| Lv. 7 | 64 |
| Lv. 8 | 128 |
| Lv. 9 | 256 |
| Lv. 10 | 512 |
Shards are categorized by skill type. Use them to learn new skills at Institutions or level up existing skills on any adventurer.
| Shard | Skill Type | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Normal | Basic attacks | |
| Battle | Melee & weapon combat | |
| Magic | Elemental spells | |
| Defense | Protection & taunts | |
| Restorative | Healing & revival | |
| Enhance | Buffs & stat boosts | |
| Curse | Debuffs & DOTs | |
| Gather | Mining & botanist | |
| Craft | Crafting & cooking |
3. Adventurer Medallions
Every transmuted card also produces 1 Medallion matching the card’s rarity:
| Icon | Rarity | Medallion |
|---|---|---|
| N | Adventurer Medallion (N) | |
| R | Adventurer Medallion (R) | |
| SR | Adventurer Medallion (SR) | |
| SSR | Adventurer Medallion (SSR) | |
| UR | Adventurer Medallion (UR) |
Outlander adventurers produce a separate set of Outlander Medallions:
| Icon | Rarity | Medallion |
|---|---|---|
| SSR | Outlander Medallion (SSR) |
Tips
Tap the lock icon on any card to prevent accidental transmutation. Locked cards cannot be selected for transmute.
If your card box is full and you can’t summon, use Bulk Transmute to quickly free up slots.

Transmutation stores all EXP as books and all skill levels as shards — nothing is wasted. The only real cost of raising an adventurer is the Gold spent along the way. So keep earning Gold!
